When you hire, you guess. When you fire you know. You hire then put the person inside the business culture, wait a little and then fire if you know they are not a good fit. People don’t buy WHAT we do, people buy WHY we do it. The goal is not to hire people who need a job, the goal is to hire people who believe what we believe. If we hire people just because they can do a job they’ll work for our money. If we hire people who believe what we believe, they’ll work with us with blood and sweat and tears.
